DEGREES° OF THE WORLD
Brief: Create a campaign that encourages students to travel the world and stay in hostels that are booked through Hostelworld.
My Degrees° campaign relates to students in their current life stage of studying their degree at university, cutting through the noise and creating a campaign that specifically relates to the whole student body, playing on the word to also refer to degrees of temperature and degrees of the earth.
The campaign uses the benefits of travelling, including experiences, adventure and thrills, to create excitement about the possibilities of trips away. It further motivates students in their wanderlust, by showing how easy and accessible travel is, with Hostelworld as the main means by which they can explore.
Posters suggest that travelling and staying in Hostels won’t break the bank like their tuition does, and that vacationing should be a priority for students, alongside their goal of finishing with a high degree classification.
